The ETX86 Base Board must be replaced together with the new-type CPU Board, as the existing Base Board is not compatible with the new-type CPU Board.

When replacing the old ETX550 CPU Board with the new-type ETX86DL CPU BOARD (6.5") , the following components must be replaced together:

• Part No. BD-000779-05 — SMALL IO BOARD E+ (M16C-P)

• Part No. BD-000444-08 — ETX86 BASE (REV 4.3) BOARD ASS'Y

Important: The ETX86DL CPU BOARD (6.5") is not intended to be replaced independently. The SMALL IO BOARD E+ (M16C-P) and ETX86 Base Board must be replaced together with the new-type ETX86DL CPU BOARD (6.5")
